Apache Technologes
The apache tribe adapted to their environment in many ways. Pottery allowed them to adapt to their surroundings because the Apaches were able to carry food and water and store it for many days. Apaches were able to find food in the environment around the them, and save it for the winter or later on. The apaches were then able to focus on new technologies to make their life easier. Another tool that helped the Apaches make use of their surroundings is by making clubs to hunt and fight with. The clubs were used during hunting and fighting. During war if a Apache member was able to kill or take away their enemies weapon then they could possibly raid their corn. These tools allowed the Apaches to make use of their surroundings.
Apache beliefs connected them with their environment because, they believed that their ancestors turned into trees or rocks after death. The Apaches would dance or sing to the rocks or trees that they believed had their ancestors spirits inside. Spiritual beings were very important to the Apaches and so was nature. The made this belief because they were very connected to their environment. Another sacred belief was bathing. The Apaches believed that bad spirits dwelled in dirt and bathed often.
