Important natural resource to the Blackfoots was available in this region. Some of the best places to find timber were near lakes and in moist areas.
Water could be found in the lakes and in small streams that connected to the lakes.
Apache:
The apaches water source was supplied by the lakes all over this area.
Since their was a lot of vegetation in this area it flourished with wildlife.
Many forests could be found by the lakes, they supplied the Apaches with berries, wildlife, and seeds of plants that could be grown.
